In just five semesters – less than 20 months – graduates of the Master's Entry Advanced Generalist Nursing program qualify to be a registered nurse and earn a Master of Science degree in Nursing, and many of our Post-BSN to DNP programs (below) also offer an MSN exit option.
UDM offers a BSN-DNP with a Master's exit which allows you to exit with your master's then continue to the DNP.

Small classrooms provide engaging learning environments. McAuley School of Nursing (MSON) faculty are responsive to the needs of students and community. Detroit Mercy Nursing graduates are sought after by employers; they make a difference in their community.
Within the MSON, Nursing faculty provide student-centered advising and support. Detroit Mercy has a Writing Center and Student Success Center, where all students may receive assistance in all subjects.
The MSON offers full-time, part-time and accelerated nursing tracks to achieve a bachelor or master’s degree in Nursing. Courses are face-to-face, hybrid or online. Our clinical simulation laboratory offers both low and high fidelity learning to supplement clinical instruction.
The Detroit Mercy McNichols Campus is centrally located in metro Detroit. It is easy to access from a number of freeways or main roads. This means we are located in the middle of our many clinical partners' sites as well.
The MEAGN Program is currently located at our Novi Campus, and you can also earn a UDM BSN from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids.
Macomb students can receive admission right at Macomb's University Center for our RN to BSN Program in Clinton Twp. And OCC-Southfield students can apply online for our partner program.
The Prelicensure Nursing programs (Baccalaureate and Master's Entry Advanced Generalist) are approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
